The Faculty of Mathematics at the TU München is one of the leading and most modern Mathematics institutes in Europe. Key area: The whole range of Applied Mathematics with particular focus on Numerics, Mathematical Physics, Optimisation, Biomathematics, Stochastics, Visualisation, Financial Mathematics and Data Sciences. TUM sees itself as an entrepreneurial university and proactively promotes start-ups by its scientists and students.
