Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

Integrated methodological education (data collection/analysis + in the neurocognitive field=link to Centre for Cognitive Neuroscience Berlin (CCNB); Health Psychology; Intensive support in fundamentals training through tutorials; Training in psychological interviewing and basic psychotherapeutic skills; External guests from companies/the therapeutic context are invited who carry out specific exercises with students and offer work placements + student positions (practice-integrated teaching); Provision of accompanying programmes (for example psychotherapeutic outpatient clinic)

There are three Master's degree courses: Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy; Occupational, Organisational and Health Psychology and Master's in Cognitive Neuroscience Berlin. More information on the FU website.

Focuses on clinical psychological and psychotherapy research, prevention and health promotion, occupational and organisational psychology and neuroscientific research on higher cognitive phenomena of humans. The facilities and centres located in the application-related areas of psychology are not only used for education, but also represent essential development drivers for innovative research, such as the Centre for Mental Health and Digital Science (CMHDS), the Centre for Mental Health or the Centre for Cognitive Neuroscience Berlin.
