Special features regarding the international orientation

A strategy for international relations has been developed at LUH that specifically expands strategic partnerships in priority regions, but measures to increase the number of study-related stays abroad and to increase the university's attractiveness for international students are also part of the internationalisation strategy. At the level of degree organisation, greater emphasis is to be placed on joint and double degrees as well as on student mobility through the inclusion of mobility windows and an increase in the number of cooperations.

Support for founders

The Graduate Academy of the Faculty of Natural Sciences offers students of the faculty access to the topic of business start-ups in the area of "Key Qualifications" with the offer "Entrepreneurial Thinking and Acting - Active Career Design". They learn to recognize that entrepreneurial thinking and action is an integral part of any corporate culture (entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship). Students are also encouraged to reflect on professional self-employment as an option for their own career.
