The School of Computation, Information and Technology has set itself guiding principles on internationalisation. The objectives include high quality in research, teaching and administration on the basis of an international character; High percentage of international students (30%), academics (20%) and administrative staff (10%); High level of language competency, both in German and in English; High cross-cultural competency and periods abroad at all levels. Numerous degree courses (including MSc Information Systems) can also be studied entirely in English.

The experts provide active support in setting up the companies, entering the market and financing - also via venture capital.

Other special features

TUM takes a holistic approach to implementing its gender & diversity strategy. Two central units, the Gender Equality Office and the Diversity & Equal Opportunities Department, develop, shape and support this strategy. Sustainability is also a key issue in the future development agenda.
