Special features regarding the international orientation

The international Master's degree programme in Mechatronics can be studied entirely in English and is attended by students from numerous countries, including India, Egypt, Iran, Pakistan and Turkey. The Mechatronics Bachelor's degree programme also includes elements taught in English. The degree course aims to prepare students for the international job market.

Special features regarding the equipment

Fourteen rooms with 170 computer workstations (eight Windows pools and five Linux pools); Pool of 30 laptops; Computer pools and computer workstations are available for students to carry out their tasks. Hexapod; Large-scale single-cylinder diesel engine; Wind tunnel; Standard programs for word processing and program development; Software products from the fields of mathematics/numerics (e.g. Matlab, Maple, Mathcad), CAD (e.g. AutoCAD, So-lidWorks), CAE/FEM/CFD (e.g. Abaqus, Ansys, Comsol, LS-Dyna, Fluent, Starccm +), chemistry (e.g. Turbomole) and other fields.
