Special features regarding teaching

Industrial engineers are generalists with a wide range of technical and economic knowledge. The basic philosophy is to combine the three fields of Man, Technology and Economics. Technical and economic questions form the core content of this course. The holistic and integrative orientation of Friedberger WI can be seen in modules such as Project Management, Quality Management and Business Simulation. Specialisations are made possible by the specialisations and electives, such as Mechanical Engineering or Facility Management.

Special features regarding the international orientation

The WI department has a foreign representative (with deputy). A procedure for recognising achievements made abroad exists. The department tries to provide support and advice to students who are looking for experience abroad. In addition, courses taught in English, summer schools abroad and excursions abroad are offered.
