The international activities and possibilities offered by Faculty 4: Social Work and Health are diverse: Stays abroad during studies, international projects and courses in the faculty, International Weeks and much more. Participation in the U!REKA programme: An alliance of seven European universities of applied sciences, including the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences from Germany, which have been pursuing joint projects in the fields of applied sciences, research, studies and teaching in the European context since 2016.

In Faculty 4: Social Work and Health, research, specifically practice-related research, plays a major role. The research projects include both the traditional third-party funded (commissioned) projects and the research projects funded with the help of public funding programmes (EU, Federal Ministry of Education and Research, etc.). There are a number of research projects that are funded by Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences, the state and other third-party funding bodies as well as the individual research institutes.
