Computer science degree programme that establishes a clear link to business issues. The fields Computer Science and Business Administration exist as independent programmes, which why students benefit from a broad subject-specific range of courses with specially tailored lectures. Other programmes, such as Industrial Engineering or Law, complete the varied range. Large choice of elective courses in the 5th/6th semester: broad elective subjects for specialisation and for gaining specialist knowledge for certain sectors.

Hof University of Applied Sciences sees itself as a cosmopolitan green tech university. There are a large number of projects in the field of sustainability. Active research is conducted in the Institute of Applied Biopolymer Research and Institute of Water and Energy Management.
