Special features regarding teaching

Mentor programme in which students are assigned a mentor from business, who coaches them and acts as a point of contact during their studies. "Expand your Knowledge, Extend your Network" lecture series to intensify the links between teaching and practice even during the academic studies. Extensive programme also in the field of hybrid and online teaching. Use of the services of the Teaching and Learning Centre (ZLL).

Special features regarding the international orientation

In a global world, graduates with international experience are in high demand. This is why the Business Informatics department has a clear, international focus. One particularly attractive option involves taking an academic semester abroad. The 6th semester is intended for this, whereby the recognition of subjects has been simplified. The practice semester and the thesis can be completed abroad as well. In this case, the same rules apply to the practical and/or thesis semesters as back home. In a survey of graduates, the experience gained during the semester abroad was consistently rated as very positive.
