Special features regarding teaching

Professors of the faculty come from universities and major research institutions, thus creating synergy effects; large volume of research activities (application-related and in large-scale research) that have a direct influence on the latest teaching. In the area of basic research the focus is on the three pillars of technical mechanics, construction and materials science. A specific feature of the master's degrees is their great flexibility with regard to choice of subjects.

Partnerships with other universities worldwide, International Studying in Mechanical Engineering (ISIM), International Afternoon, various English-language courses, double degrees with France, South Korea and China.
