Special features regarding teaching in the bachelor's degree programme

Professors at the faculty come from the university and large-scale research sectors (Helmholtz), which creates synergy effects; large volume of research activities (application-related and in large-scale research) that have a direct influence on the latest teaching. In the area of basic research the focus is on the three pillars of technical mechanics, construction and materials science.

Special features regarding teaching in the master's programmes

A specific feature of the Master's degree courses is their great flexibility with regard to choice of subjects, which allows students to develop a specific profile.
