The department has set up the specialised degree course in GIF (GIF = foundation, innovation, leadership). The university is also a member of BRIDGE, the start-up network of universities in the state of Bremen, whose extensive advisory, qualification and support offers for those interested in starting up are open to students in Bremerhaven.
