Special features regarding research activities

The Competence Centre "International Accounting and International Controlling" analyses the effects of globalisation on corporate management as well as on the linking of accounting and controlling. Innovation campus in Sigmaringen: Supporting young business founders in realising their innovative product ideas; Promoting the development of high-quality, innovative projects by universities and companies. In particular, offering commissioned work and consulting services on energy-related issues (ZEN: Centre for Energy and Sustainability).

Support for founders

A strong entrepreneurial spirit in research and teaching is an integral part of university culture. Tailor-made programmes promote individual creative ideas all the way through to the product or company concept. Researchers and students are successfully supported by the Start-up Manager and the Start-up Officer. The faculty is home to the School of Intrepreneurship.
