In the Bachelor's programme, there are two English-language degree courses - "Business Economics" and "Engineering and Management" - which are geared specifically towards international students. In addition, many areas of special public interest that go beyond the classic Economics areas are covered, in particular Economic History, Health and Behavioural Economics, Business Ethics, Financial Markets and Financial Market Regulation, as well as Environmental Economics. The department's teaching programme emphasizes application-related work with economic data across all content-related topics and thus enables skills acquisition in applied econometrics and statistics.
