Mechanical Engineering project: the Mechanical Engineering project is an opportunity to complete the examination achievements required in the subject mathematics in several individual exams throughout the semester In the third semester, there is a project course in which a practical engineering task is solved in small groups. The faculty has modern laboratory equipment including large-scale equipment funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The spectrum covers computer clusters with more than 100 workstations, a centre for additive manufacturing, demo factories, flow laboratories, automation laboratories, mechanics laboratories, materials technology laboratories, production technology laboratories, quality management laboratories, CAD and CAE laboratories, test benches and a robotics laboratory. Added to this is a very well-equipped mechanical workshop.
