- Higher education entrance qualification
- Proof of previous training recognised as equivalent by the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
- Proof of completed further training (e.g. successful completion of a master craftsman / technician examination) as part of the qualification regulations for Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
- Passing an entrance examination (for applicants without a higher education entrance qualification) after having completed at least two years of vocational training and at least three years of professional activity in a field which is related directly to the intended course of study
