Admission requirements

Above-average, relevant university degree course of at least 6 semesters. The requirements are fulfilled by the completion of a corresponding Bachelor's academic degree with a grade of at least 2.3. In addition to literary studies, Bachelor's degree course in the individual philologies, media studies or cultural studies in which a literary studies focus has been trained are also relevant. Graduates in Cultural Studies, Philosophy or Media Studies may also be granted admission. In this case, the special motivation for the degree programme must be explained to the degree programme Officer. Proof of two modern foreign languages at level B1. The Examination Board of the Faculty of Philosophy decides whether the admission requirements have been met.
