The course aims at students who are interested in the future, who already have a first academic degree and want to build on this to implement their own ideas in an environment that promotes creativity.

Annotation

The Master's degree course in Innopreneurship prepares students professionally and personally to work in an innovative field, a startup or the foundation of the latter. Taking into account the current state of research on innovation and entrepreneurship, methods for the development and evaluation of business ideas are taught. The degree course resembles that of an ideal-typical innovation process. A special focus of the course is on interdisciplinary teamwork in order to put theoretical knowledge into practice and thus to support the students in their personal development. Graduates of all disciplines are welcome. Another special feature of the Innopreneurship degree course is the elective area. Students can design this individually according to their personal interests and goals and choose courses from the entire range offered by the University of Duisburg-Essen.
