Notes on the degree programme: The two-semester degree programme in Sustainable Design M.A. strengthens the consideration and communication of design in the context of the ecological, economic, social and cultural challenges and potentials of our time. The degree programme in Sustainable Design M.A. is primarily aimed at graduates of the Bachelor's degree programme in Sustainable Design B.A. However, anyone else who holds an academic degree qualifying for a profession (e.g. Bachelor's degree course) in programmes related to design, art or sustainability can also apply for the Master's degree programme. Any missing credit points (ECTS) or competences can be made up in compact form in so-called qualification courses before the start of the programme. Standard period of study 2–4 semesters depending on the degree course variant Credit points (ECTS) 60, 90 or 120 depending on the degree course variant. The appropriate degree course variant arises from the credit points already earned. Start of studies Degree course variant with 60 credit points (period of study two semesters): in the winter semester in each case Degree course variant with 90 credit points (period of study three semesters): in the summer semester in each case Degree course variant with 120 credit points (period of study four semesters): in the winter semester in each case

Completed Bachelor's degree in sustainable design at ecosign OR Other completed first professional qualification in thematically related fields of study, e.g. design, art or sustainability Successful participation and submission of a portfolio with creative works at an entrance interview If applicable, completion of qualification courses which compensate for missing credit points and study content. The type and scope of any necessary qualification courses will be determined by the admissions committee in consultation with the applicant(s) during the applicants' day at ecosign. For applicants from outside Germany: Knowledge of German at language level DSH 1 or Test DaF level TDN 3 or equivalent
