Annotation

In the Master's degree course International Energy Engineering, you will learn about the engineering interrelationships and concepts of resource-saving energy generation, conversion, storage and distribution in an international environment. This will lead you to a sound expertise in all areas of environmentally friendly energy production. They deal with the potentials, the economic efficiency and the production of environmentally friendly energy sources such as solar power, wind and water power, and biomass up to the use of biotechnology for energy production as well as their integration into modern energy supply systems.

Admission requirements

Completed Bachelor's degree or Diplom in an engineering degree course: e.g. energy technology, renewable energies, environmental engineering with a technical focus or equivalent degree course with at least 20 ECTS credit points from the fields of competence: Mathematics, Fundamentals of Electrical Engineering, Fundamentals of Thermodynamics, Fundamentals of Fluid Mechanics, Fundamentals of Chemistry, Fundamentals of Physics, Computer Science/programming Knowledge of English at least at level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Evidence provided by one of the following English language tests with the minimum score indicated: TOEFL IBT - 80 / IELTS Cambridge - 6 / TOEIC - 780. Proof is not required if the higher education entrance qualification or the certificate of academic degree was obtained in English. Knowledge of the German language at least at level A2: Proof by the end of the first year of study at the latest. Aptitude assessment procedure.
