Admission requirements

Admission requirement is a Bachelor’s degree in History and Culture of the Middle East at the FU Berlin or a professionally qualifying German or equivalent foreign degree from a higher education programme that corresponds to the content and structure of the Bachelor’s in History and Culture of the Middle East of the FU Berlin. Proof of English language skills to B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) or equivalent; Proof of written Arabic proficiency according to level C1 CEF and spoken Arabic corresponding to level B1 CEF. The proof according to sentence 1 is deemed provided with the completion of the module Arabic IV in the Bachelor programme History and Culture of the Middle East of the Free University Berlin with a minimum grade of 3.0 For foreign degrees – German proficiency to level DSH 2
