Annotation
The Master’s degree programme in Structural Civil Engineering/Construction Management is a joint study offer by Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and RhineMain University of Applied Sciences. This degree course combines the competences and expertise of both universities in this subject area. As part of the study programme, students are prepared for future management tasks in all areas of the construction industry, the building trade and administration. The wide range of modules allows students to choose their own modules without any compulsory components or a module hierarchy, so that students can set individual priorities in their personal educational goal. With a corresponding number of credit points, the specialisations "Structural Civil Engineering" or "Construction Management" can be shown. The comprehensive laboratory landscape of both universities supports a balanced synthesis of practical and research-oriented teaching. The course will prepare you for roles in design and construction management. It is based on the state of the art in science, technology and the resulting design tasks. Teaching and study will provide you with the necessary methods and knowledge as well as the ability to independently learn and critically review the activities in the professional field. These demand the ability to cooperate effectively, make target-oriented decisions and act in a responsible manner. Since the degree course allows a free choice of modules without compulsory components and a module hierarchy, you can set your own priorities.
