Annotation

The application-oriented Master's degree course in in “Psychosocial Counselling and Law” qualifies on a scientific basis for activities in psychological, social and legal issues. The degree course primarily has an institution-related profile, but at the same time provides a wide range of cross-institutional consulting skills that are also fundamental for freelance work. As the need for consulting increases, so do the demands on the scientifically sound training of consultants and on the scientific skills for quality assurance, which are taught in a practice-oriented manner.

Admission requirements: - completed university degree from a state-recognised higher education institution in the fields of Health, Social or Nursing Care with a standard period of study of at least six semesters or with at least 180 ECTS credits and 400 hours of counselling experience in the field of psychosocial and/or legal counselling. -graduates from a state higher education institution with a standard period of study of at least six semesters or with at least 180 ECTS credit from other areas must prove counselling experience in the field of psychosocial and/or legal counselling of at least 2,500 hours. Tuition fee

In addition to the usual semester fees, one-time obligatory costs will be incurred for 20 hours of individual educational therapy. The costs for this 20-hour individual counselling course amount to approximately EUR 1,500 to EUR 2,200 during the entire course, with a presumed hourly rate of EUR 80 to EUR 110. However, this amount is not to be paid to the university, but to the teaching supervisor, with whom a corresponding contract is drawn up.
