Legal expertise for business: Many companies, whether they are large corporations or emerging start-ups, find themselves overwhelmed by the complex regulations and legal requirements and can no longer constantly assert themselves on the market without experts in business law. Companies are therefore increasingly relying on professional in-house legal advice to avoid pitfalls and operate successfully. Legal expertise in corporate law is therefore one of the most sought-after competencies in all sectors of the economy, be it in companies, law firms or business advisory functions. Law in the company is an interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree course (LL.B.) that addresses this need and trains lawyers with knowledge of economics. The focus is entirely on economically-relevant areas of law such as debt, real estate and commercial law, in addition to numerous specialisation opportunities through modules in banking or insurance law, insolvency, competition and tax law. In addition, demanding business administration knowledge is taught, which must be mastered by specialists and managers in order to successfully implement corporate goals. The practical training enables students to develop concrete solutions to legal problems in everyday business. The legal and economic content is closely interrelated and linked to the interdisciplinary competencies in such a way that the goal of integrated legal management for companies is achieved. The degree course concludes with the legal Bachelor's degree "LL.B." and enables direct career entry or further studies in a variety of business law degree courses, e.g. including the consecutive Master's degree course in Real Estate and Enforcement Law (LL.M.).
