Admission requirements
The admission requirements are derived from the Berlin Higher Education Act (BerlHG) as well as from the general study and examination regulations of the Akkon University of Applied Sciences for Human Sciences. (1) Subject-specific higher education entrance qualification: - You have completed vocational training as a geriatric nurse, healthcare and nursing caregiver and paediatric nurse or as a nursing specialist - and have at least one year of professional experience in the field of intensive and/or anaesthetic care. 2) Higher education entrance qualification plus professional practice: - You have completed a general higher education entrance qualification giving right of entry to higher education or entrance qualification for studies at Universities of Applied Sciences - and completed vocational training as a geriatric nurse, healthcare and nursing caregiver and paediatric nurse or as a nursing specialist - and have at least one year of professional experience in the field of intensive and/or anaesthetic care.
