The profile of the Master´s degree programme is characterised by the imparting of in-depth knowledge and competences in special fields of biotechnology and environmental engineering and therefore designed for graduates of these fields of study.

Annotation

The degree programme in Bioengineering and Environmental Engineering is jointly offered by the RhineMain University of Applied Sciences and the Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Due to the broad nature of the course, there are a wide range of tasks and possible roles to carry out technical planning work and promote innovative new and further developments, which are of central importance in biotechnology and environmental technology in industry and business. As a graduate of the degree course, you will plan and build, for example, environmental and biotechnological plants, pursue development, investigation and monitoring activities in the field of bio- and environmental analysis, implement production and analysis guidelines in the biomedical sector, and develop and implement environmental remediation techniques. You will evaluate environmental quality, plan and implement eco-efficient energy systems, prepare expert opinions, develop purification techniques in biotechnical production or participate in process and device developments for miniaturised routine diagnostics for medical technology, environmental technology and biotechnology.

Admission requirements: - A certificate of academic degree in Environmental Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering and comparable degree courses with a standard period of study of at least seven semesters and 210 credit points with an overall grade of 2.3. - If you graduate with six semesters or less than 210 credit points, you must make up the missing credits.
