Target group

The Bachelor of Education Geography develops basic competencies in the various areas of specialist science, didactics and educational science. One of the central requirements for future-oriented teacher training in Geography is a comprehensive range of subject courses that qualify for school practice. Contents: • Equal imparting of physical-geographical / geo-ecological and human geographic content • Problem and action-oriented examination of human-environment interactions in space • Treatment of selected regional topics • Mastery of modern knowledge and working methods of the subject • Acquisition of skills for the integrative processing of spatial information • Providing comprehensive didactic and subject-specific pedagogical skills
