In this M.Ed. Degree course, you will study a further subject in addition to the above-mentioned subject and the compulsory partial course Training, Education and Society. Physics can only be chosen as a Secondary I-level subject at EUF. The Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree opens up a variety of career paths for you. You can further qualify for teaching qualification (subsequent traineeship), enter the (non-school) job market directly or even do a doctorate.

Admission requirements

Prerequisite for admission to the Master of Education degree in Comprehensive Schools is a) proof of a qualified Bachelor's degree, b) a subject combination according to Art.5, c) at least 60 credit points in each of the school subjects as well as 35 credit points from educational science and other disciplines that deal with questions of education and upbringing (e.g. psychology, sociology, philosophy), and d) proof of basic pedagogical and didactical qualifications in the areas of dealing with heterogeneity and inclusion as well as the basics of inclusive assessment, continuous language education and the teaching of media competence and e) proof of successful completion of school internships of at least six weeks.

    International students from non-EU Member States should submit their documents early or better submit their certificates plus translations to the Admissions Office for review before the official start of application. If verification is not possible, the documents must be sent to the central office in Bonn. The examination procedure there can take several months. In order to be admitted to the selection procedure, you must have obtained the results of the test by the closing date for applications at the latest.
