The course aims to convey in-depth scientific knowledge in particular in the fields of 'International Business Relations' and 'Business Politics'. This will prepare students for managerial positions in business and administration - in particular with companies and organisations whose activities are strongly influenced by international economics and political framework conditions.

Annotation

Commencement of studies in winter semester recommended. There is a possibility to apply for participation in a joint double degree course in cooperation with Szkoła Główna Handlowa (SGH) Warsaw or Université Clermont Auvergne (UCA). The Master's degree is then completed with two academic degrees, a national and an international academic degree. The course is taught in English. If the Bachelor degree certificate is not available by the application deadline, but at least 135 credit points can be demonstrated: Submit a certificate of study and examinations and the average grade achieved so far. (This certificate must be issued by the relevant higher education, original or officially authenticated copy). After enrolment, the diploma must be submitted. If the degree was obtained abroad: officially authenticated copy of a certificate of recognition (responsible: Student Service - Admission International).

Admission requirements

Evidence of a Bachelor's degree in an Economics degree course with a standard period of study of at least 6 semesters or an equivalent degree in a related subject from a university in Germany or abroad. Proof of required language skills in English. If the first degree or a higher level degree demonstrated is a course conducted continuously in English or if the applicant's mother tongue is English, this counts as evidence of sufficient English language proficiency. Letter of motivation in English (maximum one page) and tabular CV in English (maximum two pages). No German language proficiency is required for the Master's degree course in International Economics and Public Policy.
