For Classical Archaeology as the major subject, proof must be submitted of a knowledge of Latin as part of the minor Latinum (Latin language examination) or knowledge of Ancient Greek by registration for the Bachelor's thesis at the latest. If a command of Latin or Ancient Greek is not evidenced in the school report, then corresponding proof of successful participation in a grammar course and a reading course may be seen as equivalent instead.
