Annotation

As a Bachelor of Bioprocess Engineering,; you will develop, plan and operate (bio)process engineering processes and systems. At crucial interfaces, you will work with pioneering bioprocess engineering solutions in the sectors nutrition (“yellow”), environment, energy production (“grey”) and health (“red” biotechnology). The theoretical and technical contents of the general and dual study options are congruent – but: Our dual study variant offers you the "plus" that you apply the knowledge you have acquired at the university directly in practical work at the partner company during the lecture-free periods, thus gaining practical experience. Through this close interlinking of theory and practice, you will qualify twice. In addition, you will be remunerated for working at the company. The job prospects are excellent, because after graduation you will have broad, interdisciplinary knowledge. You can take on highly qualified roles in development, production, and marketing and distribution, in a wide range of areas – for example in the chemical and process engineering industry, the biotechnology and food industry, the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry, environmental engineering and energy production, in companies in the equipment and plant engineering industry as well as in engineering and service companies active in these fields. In addition, you can deepen your studies by studying for a consecutive Master's degree in Germany and abroad.
