Annotation

In the summer semester 2022, the Bachelor’s degree programme with vocational and academic elements in Midwifery (BSc) will start in cooperation with Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and Johann-Wolfgang-Goethe-University on the basis of the Law on Studying and Practising Midwifery (HebG), which came into force in 2020. The degree course is designed as an eight-semester full-time degree course (standard period of study) with a total workload of 7,200 hours. The dual structure combines university and practical learning locations and thus theory and practice. Students are supported in combining the learning content and their experience to develop their professional practice. Upon completion of their studies, graduates acquire the academic degree Bachelor of Science (BSc) as well as a professional state licence as a midwife.
