After successful completion of the joint selection procedure of HAWK (University of Applied Sciences and Art) and UMG, applicants receive a contract which becomes valid upon enrolment (until 15.07.2022) by the university.
Admission requirements
A contract for academic midwifery training with the University Medical Centre Göttingen (UMG) as a cooperating responsible practice facility. An extended police certificate of good conduct as well as a health certificate. Both proofs must be provided to the responsible practice facility (UMG). An at least 4-week pre-study work placement in the field of obstetrics with the possibility of participation in births, preferably in the clinical environment, is also required. Proof is to be provided to the HAWK.
