Annotation

The use of geoinformation systems is one of the most dynamic growth sectors. Maps are predominantly prepared digitally and interactively for the internet. At all levels of administration, the labour market is looking for skilled workers who take care of the management and maintenance of municipal real estate and infrastructure, while recognising and taking into account the spatial contexts. Due to the breadth of the degree course, you will acquire skills, at the interfaces to other professions, that will help you achieve greater transparency and efficiency in cooperation. You will thus become an interdisciplinary link between project partners and also benefit from insights into public administration. Upon successful completion of the degree course, you will receive both the vocational title “Geomatics Engineer” and the academic title of “Bachelor of Engineering”. This will give you very good opportunities on the job market. Above all, the academic degree enables you to work in the company in which you began your education in the training-integrated programme. With the “Bachelor of Engineering” degree, you have the opportunity to supplement your education with a Master's degree.
