Important: The degree course takes place in Indonesia! Enrolment at the University Wismar, and at the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember in Surabaya, Indonesia (ITS). The Bachelor's degree course is run by both of the aforementioned institutions in collaboration with PoliMarin, a state-accredited institution of higher education that specialises in maritime subjects. The lectures are held solely at ITS and in the laboratories of PoliMarin in Indonesia. Graduates of the Marine Engineering degree course are awarded a so-called double degree; this means that they receive a final degree from both University Wismar and ITS Surabaya respectively. The examinations that are taken after completion of the first semester at ITS serve as the admission requirements for enrolment at Hochschule Wismar.
