The degree in the polyvalent two-subject Bachelor's degree programme qualifies for entry into professional life and for a Master's degree in teaching at grammar schools or depending on the degree programme planning in principle for admission to a subject-specific Master's programme. In the dual-subject Bachelor's degree programme, alongside the core subject of Latin and a further core subject, an inter-disciplinary professional qualification area is completed, which, depending on the career goal, comprises the core curriculum Teacher Education (ICL) or the acquisition of key competences based on the 4-Steps+ model. Depending on the professional goal, core subjects that can be combined are: English Studies/English, Biology, Chemistry, Educational Science, Protestant Theology/Religion, Geography/Earth Sciences, German Studies/German, History, Computer Science, Catholic Theology/Religion, Art History, Art Education/Art, Mathematics, Musicology/Music, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science, Romance Studies/French, Romance Studies/Italian, Romance Studies/Spanish, Sociology, Sports Science/Sport, Environmental Systems Science or Economics
