Annotation
The Bachelor's course in Media Science and Media Practice provides theoretical, methodical, historical and application-related fundamental knowledge of media science and media practice. The Media Science and Media Practice degree course concentrates on audiovisual and digital media with a focus on computer games. Even though game programming is a compulsory part of the degree course, we have a clear humanities orientation with a view to history, aesthetics and theory of computer games and film and television. In the practically-oriented section which is longer than at most universities, experimental designs and prototype implementation will be encouraged in the students' individual projects. Contact person: Prof. Dr. Christine Hanke
