Locations: Aachen; Cologne; Münster; Paderborn; Stock: 265,501 printed volumes, of which 47,053 in Aachen; 619 printed journal subscriptions, 106 of which in Aachen, 16,167 e-journal subscriptions, 487,786 e-books, etc. and access to 92 databases. ; Services: The university library is an internally and externally networked freely accessible library with four branch libraries at the university locations Aachen, Cologne, Münster and Paderborn. All printed and digital resources, including specialist databases, are recorded in nationwide, cooperative catalogues (HBZ (Association of University Libraries of North Rhine-Westphalia) catalogue, DBIS (database information system), EZB (electronic journals library), ZDB (journals database)). All students/university members can use these as well as the joint Catholic University of Applied Sciences online catalogue (OPAC) at all locations for research, ordering and borrowing.

Foreign language center and courses
There is no foreign language centre. Languages offered: English, Dutch (approx. 4 semester periods per week English, e.g. "English Colloquium for Incoming Student"; Dutch as part of the Euregio certificate).
Special features regarding university sports
The university does not have its own sports programme. Students attending the institution can participate in the RWTH Aachen sports programme. Some courses are free of charge, some subject to fees. There are sports-related courses (sports games); cooperation with the State Sport Federation (students can obtain trainer C certificate); further offers and further training are planned in cooperation with the State Sport Federation.
