The flexible semester allows students to complete a long work placement or semester abroad in the Bachelor's degree courses without losing any time; in the Master's degree course, students can obtain two degrees within the double degree programmes. Students can take advantage of the diverse offerings of the Startup-Intiative Kilometer1 of the University and HTWG Konstanz. From idea development to “start of production”, students are supported in multiple ways, such as through workshops on systematic brainstorming, initial consultation and assistance with applications for funding programmes. Professors in the faculty act as mentors for EXIST start-up grants.
