Annotation

Are you interested in global topics such as climate change, migration, international security, inequality and distributional justice, social cohesion or the consequences of digitisation? Would you like to really understand these challenges of our time and to become part of the solution after your general higher education entrance qualification? The common feature of all of these problems is that they are of a political nature, can usually only be solved through international cooperation and touch on fundamental ethical aspects. In the interdisciplinary Bachelor's degree programme in Politics, Administration & International Relations | PAIR, current problems such as those mentioned above are dealt with under all three aspects. In this degree course, you will learn about political and administrative decision-making processes and institutions at a national and international level and analyse their societal effects using scientific methods. Located in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at Zeppelin University (ZU), the seminars of the Bachelor's degree programme will immerse you above all in the global changes in politics, administration and society. Through the interdisciplinary orientation you will learn to link the global references of the aforementioned challenges with issues of the social legitimation of political decisions and their legal/administrative implementation. Through profound methodological training, the degree course will teach you to scientifically and responsibly analyse what really moves you. According to your personal interests, you have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in an inspiring university environment and to orient yourself professionally with the Bachelor's degree course.
