The successfully-passed Bachelor's exam in the subject of Art History or a closely related Bachelor's course of study is to be proven. (At least grade '2.7') In addition to active and passive command of English and another modern foreign language, for admission to the main subject studies proof is required of the Latinum (Latin language examination) or equivalent knowledge of Latin acquired abroad. Minimum requirements for command of both modern foreign languages are governed by Section 2 (3) of the Ordinance of the University of Trier regarding the examination of the Bachelor's course of studies in Art History for the major and minor subject.
