Admission requirements
A requirement for admission to the Master's degree course in Mechanical Engineering is that the applicant has been awarded a Bachelor's in the Bachelor's Mechanical Engineering programme of the University of Duisburg-Essen or a qualification recognised as equivalent (see Examination Regulations). For graduates with a Bachelor's degree from courses with a standard period of study of less than 7 semesters, stipulations will be made under the aptitude test, guaranteeing that following completion of the Master's in Mechanical Engineering an overall course volume of 300 ECTS points will be proven.
