Target group
The course of study is currently not subject to admission restrictions, you should however note the following: Master's students of German Language and Literature must possess an interest in theoretical and scientific issues in addition to linguistic skill and readiness to read. The Augsburg Master's degree course in German Language and Literature builds on a very good literary and linguistic basis, including a corresponding foundation in dealing with texts from the Middle Ages. In the literature courses, it is therefore necessary for you to have strong language skills which will enable you to read, compare and scientifically describe demanding texts independently.
