Subject-specific studies and practical study periods form a unit. The subject-specific studies are carried out according to Section 15 of the Training and Examination Regulations of Thuringia for careers in the upper, non-technical service of state and municipal administration (ThürAPOgD) at the Public Administration Academy of Thuringia, through the Department of Municipal Administration and General State Administration (KSAV).
Admission requirements
Training within the administration. No direct application to the university. Therefore, the VFHS courses are aimed exclusively at public service applicants for higher non-technical administrative service as well as for intermediate-grade civil servants scheduled for advancement. The course generally requires employment as a civil servant with a revocable appointment.
