For admission, students must have a recognised first academic degree in Process Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, in the Plant, Energy and Process Engineering branch of study, or another degree course in a comparable subject worth at least 210 credit points under the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and with an overall grade of 2.5 or better, showing that the student has the necessary prior education in the subject for the Master's degree. The Examination Board will determine the relevance of other degrees.
Admission requirements
For admission, students must have a recognised first certificate of academic degree in Process Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, in the Plant, Energy and Process Engineering branch of study, or another degree course in a comparable subject worth at least 210 credit points under the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) and with an overall grade of 2.5 or better, showing that the student has the necessary prior education in the subject for the Master´s degree programme. The Examination Board will determine the relevance of other degrees. If the requirements above are not fulfilled in their entirety, admission is only granted by gaining the lacking knowledge through successful attendance of certain courses from the Bachelor´s degree programmes. Applicants who have not yet completed their relevant degree can be admitted and enrolled if, at the time of application, they can prove they need no more than 30 CP to complete their degree. In such cases, enrolment is on the basis that the academic degree is completed with a minimum required grade of 2.5 by the re-registration deadline for the second semester; otherwise this will result in ex-matriculation.
