Annotation
The Theatre Therapy course teaches the fundamentals of staging and performance and a wide range of theatre therapy skills for creative, playful and body-oriented scenic work with people in curative education, social education and clinical contexts across the entire lifespan. The aim of the Bachelor's degree course in Theatre Therapy is to familiarise students with the scientific and professional basics on the one hand and with the art of theatre and its many different forms on the other. The broad approach of the curriculum teaches body-therapeutic and systemic methods and a performative art concept in drama therapy, the application in social, educational, therapeutic and cultural fields of work and organisations, but also the clinical application of drama therapy for patients of all ages.

Admission requirements
The course at MSH Medical School Hamburg is not subject to admission restrictions. Performance, talent, motivation and discipline count more than the grade point average on the certificate. The admission requirements at a glance: - General higher education entrance qualification, subject-specific higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for higher education at a university of applied sciences according to Art. 37 HmbHG or - higher education entrance qualification for employed persons according to Art. 38 HmbHG via entrance examination (according to the entrance examination regulations) - Ideally a four-week preliminary internship in a social and health care institution recognised by the MSH - Determination of artistic aptitude in an individual admission procedure, which includes both an artistic-practical part and an interview part.
