1. Completed Bachelor, Diplom, Magister or equivalent degree in Music or Musicology\; an equivalent degree also counts as an eight semester course including a passed pre-Diplom examination, 2. Proof of the required artistic aptitude for the specialisation in Composition or Jazz Composition in an entrance examination and 3. For course applicants from non-German speaking countries good knowledge of German must also be proved.
