Situated within approx. 15 minutes walking distance of the RWTH and approx. ten minutes from the RWTH extension buildings by bike. Availability is subject to a waiting list.
The residence is occupied by 450 students on 30 (half) levels. It consists of two buildings. Each half level comprises 15 rooms and three communal blocks with kitchen, shower and toilet. These facilities are shared between five residents. There are no rooms with their own showers/WC or kitchens. All rooms are the same size.

Rent deposit
Upon signing of the rental contract a deposit of two months rent must be deposited. This deposit will be fully refunded at the end of the rental period if there is no damage to the room. Accrued interest will be invested in maintenance.
Duration of housing
Rental contracts are limited to three years and six months. A request for extension has to be filed eight weeks in advance of the expiration of the contract. In certain circumstances it might be possible to extend contracts for another year, please contact the Studierendenwerk for further information.
