Description/content

The European Studies School offers introductory lectures on the European Union as a preparation for analysing contemporary politics in Europe. Participants will acquire expertise on the EU's history, policy-making processes and policy priorities and will discuss how decades of European governance, migration flows, recent crises, and the rise of populist parties impact on European citizens' identity formation, political mobilisation and societal conflict.

Accommodation is available in all three cities.

  • The Munich International Summer University (MISU) at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) offers accommodation in rooms in student residences (double room with bathroom/double room with bathroom on the floor)
  • Accommodation in Vienna and Prague in hotels/hostels in double rooms

Meals

The canteen of the "Studierendenwerk München Oberbayern" offers meals that range from 4 to 7 EUR from Monday to Friday.

In Prague, breakfast is included.
