    The course fee covers all courses including course material and excursions, discount on meal tickets at the dinning halls, and discount on scientific and cultural centres in Potsdam and Berlin as well as the entire cultural programme.

    Course participants can opt for a dorm room in a student residence. These dorms have single rooms and cost 260 EUR for the duration of the course. The kitchens and bathrooms in the student residences are shared.
    The excellent public transport system makes it easy to reach the city of Potsdam or the centre of Berlin within minutes.

    During the week meals can be taken at the university-operated cafeteria or Mensa located on the New Palace campus where classes take place. They offer a wide range of delicious food, including vegetarian meals. At the salad bar you can choose a combination of your favourite ingredients.
    Social and leisure programme
    You will find Potsdam and nearby Berlin to be two very exciting and vibrant places. Both cities offer an enormous mixture of cultural activities. Public transport allows for easy and fast travel to and from all locations in Potsdam and Berlin.
    As part of the programme we offer guided tours, e.g. to Berlin, visits to the castles and gardens in Potsdam as well as a boat trip, and a tour of the historic city centre of Potsdam.

    Participants are expected to fulfil the standard requirements, e.g. regular attendance and thorough preparation of assignments (presentations, reports, etc.). Support and counselling are offered by our programme managers and staff who are all prepared to help you make the best of the programme.
