The doctoral programme in Classical and Ancient Studies (PAW) brings together expertise in subjects related to ancient cultures from a total of seven faculties (Faculties of/for Catholic Theology, Protestant Theology, Law, History, Philosophy, Cultural Studies, Languages and Literature) involved in the Munich Center of Ancient Worlds (MZAW).
Additional support is offered by the GraduateCenter.

Course organisation

An introductory, interdisciplinary course will be held every semester. Additional lectures, courses, seminars or work experience depend on arrangements agreed upon by the participant and the responsible supervisors.
